- ➤ Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads dedicated a new three-bedroom, two-bath home in Chesapeake on March 27 to first-time homeowners Deandrea Staton and her daughter Daija, who were chosen among nearly 400 applicants after their previous neighborhood saw a rise in crime. The home was built over four months in South Norfolk and meets program requirements for stable employment, home ownership classes, and volunteer work + supported donations. 13 News Now
