- ➤ A Chesapeake man, Justin D. Vieira, died after his car left the road on eastbound I-264 near Greenwood Drive at about 7:15 p.m.—state police said he was speeding and not wearing his seatbelt when his vehicle hit a guardrail, landed on top of him and no one else was injured. 13 News Now

The program offers a free support group for homicide survivors that meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.—residents can call the Sheriff’s Office to register or get more information. 13 News Now
