Chesapeake police said Jeffery Curtis Leffel is accused of secretly filming people using a single-use restroom at a medical facility on 1933 Edwin Drive from December 2021 to May and is in custody—police ask anyone who may have been recorded to contact Crime Investigations.

Chesapeake Police is asking local businesses to join the Chesapeake Camera Sharing program to boost public safety by linking security cameras to its Real Time Crime Center — the free setup is offered to the first 50 businesses, and a Flock Safety representative will visit in July to assist with integration.
