Chesapeake Jubilee returns to City Park from May 14 to May 17 with carnival rides, live music, a shrimp feast and a Saturday fireworks show at 9 p.m. Organizers expect 25,000 to 35,000 attendees, including out-of-town visitors + local families, to enjoy the 43-year tradition.

The Chesapeake Planning Commission approved a plan on Wednesday for a possible Costco at Greenbrier Mall’s former Sears site, which would include a fuel station & tire repair center.

The move is expected to boost the local economy and drive further updates in the Greenbrier area.
