  • Gas prices in Hampton Roads jumped by up to 55 cents per gallon over the past four days, with averages near $2.94 per gallon. Analysts say tensions overseas may cause more fluctuations, and they advise drivers to monitor prices and drive efficiently.  13 News Now
  • Local residents may face higher pump prices as a war in Iran drives up costs, with AAA data showing a 10-cent increase in gas from Monday to Tuesday - local business owners warn that a prolonged conflict could boost shipping and grocery costs further.  3 WTKR
  • A Chesapeake farmer from Cutrell Farms in Hickory braces for higher fertilizer costs as the Strait of Hormuz closes due to conflict with Iran.   • Naval Station Norfolk halted its Trusted Traveler Program on Monday, requiring visitors to bring a sponsor and get a pass from the Pass and ID office; similar rules now apply to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and affect Hampton Roads Transit's Paratransit service, which must use the Base Express.  3 WTKR
