- ➤ Elizabeth River Project has received a $2M federal grant to build living shorelines along the Elizabeth River to improve water quality and add natural buffers in flood-prone neighborhoods including properties in Chesapeake. The three-year project runs through Sept. 2028 and includes research and outreach partnerships with local experts. 3 WTKR
