  • Dominion Energy customers are seeing unexpected bill spikes this month because extreme cold has led to longer heater use — some bills have more than doubled from last year. The company said record low temperatures drove higher energy usage and offered help programs to ease costs.  13 News Now

  • Tidewater Community College is expanding its registered apprenticeship program with paid training in fields like healthcare, maritime and skilled trades. The program is available now for recent graduates, veterans and career changers and is designed to match local employers' workforce needs — linking education and work.  3 WTKR

  • Daniela Seifert, a local heart survivor, shares her experience during AHA Hampton Roads’ Go Red for Women campaign to raise awareness of women’s heart disease — a leading cause of death.
