- ➤ Hampton native Andre Chez Lewis earned a Grammy as pianist and organist on the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir’s gospel album, which won Best Roots Gospel Album this past weekend. He said the win made him reflect on his journey—beginning in local church music. 13 News Now

- ➤ Old Dominion University is launching the Joan P. Brock Institute for Nutrition Science and Health with a $15M gift to expand nutrition education and research—an official launch event will be held on March 10 while new facilities are expected by summer.
